2017 Schedule

February 23, 2017 - Show us how you organize your sewing/craft space - you won't want to miss this member guided lecture.  Beth will be giving us peeks into our members ways of organizing their stash.  We will have a very special door prize from The Container Store (hint - its $100 Elfa GC with 4 hours of in home organization advice), of course we will have a few other door prizes as well

March 23, 2017 - We welcome Kristi Schroeder of Initial K Studio, she is such a delight and we are super excited to have been able to bring her to our meeting

April 27th, 2017 -  this month's lecturer will be the fabulous Denyse Schmidt!!!  You can read more about her here DSQuilts,  lecture is free to members and $10 for non-members. Then Friday she will be at Urban Spools for a workshop from 11-4, the  workshop is currently sold out but you can join their wait list here Urban Spools. The following day she will be at Dallas Book Festival located at the J. Erik Jonsson Library.

July 27th, 2017 - We welcome Latifah Saafir this month.  Latifah Saafir is known for her bold and innovative modern quilts. Combining her training as an engineer with her lifelong passion for sewing, Latifah creates designs that are graphic and contemporary, featuring challenging techniques with meticulous attention to detail. A co-founder of both the Los Angeles Modern Quilt Guild and the worldwide Modern Quilt Guild, Latifah currently teaches workshops to guilds around the country.  http://www.latifahsaafirstudios.co
